Ball Bearings

May 24, 2007
The EZO-SPB ball bearings have an inside shaft diameter of just 0.06 mm, an outer diameter of 2.5 mm, and a 1.0-mm width.

Each race contains five balls, smaller than those found in ballpoint pens, precision ground to an exacting specification for long life at operating speeds of 142,000 to 160,000 rpm. The bearings are manufactured in Japan by Sapporo Precision Inc.
