Web Roll Adjuster

Aug. 23, 2007
A Roll Adjuster facilitates the alignment of rollers, shafts, and web-handling systems.

A Roll Adjuster facilitates the alignment of rollers, shafts, and web-handling systems. The compact and easy-to-use tool goes on top of a master roller, drive-shaft, or idler, and is held in place by a pair of V-legs or adaptable mounts. The digital position of the roll, shaft, or idler is recorded by pressing a small button on the digital micrometer. The Roll Adjuster is placed on top of the next available roller and the fine-adjustment screw turned until the bubble level is centered. This step is repeated for each roll for additional measurements and adjustments.
