Industrial UPS

May 25, 2006
The 1609-P double-conversion online uninterruptible power supplies for industrial applications come in the 3 to 10-kVA power range.

The supplies target equipment such as PLCs, robotics, Ethernet switches, and industrial computers, as well as larger Scada and complete control systems. Features include tight voltage and frequency regulation, internal bypass, and input power factor correction to minimize downtime and ease disruption to equipment. All models offer assorted output voltages and receptacle or hard-wired configurations. The 5, 8, and 10-kVA models come standard with a network management card that permits environmental monitoring for remote monitoring. This gives users the ability to configure the UPS with a unique IP address for monitoring and control via a standard Web browser through which users can configure settings for low transfer voltage, event and data logs, fault notification, and a temperature alarm. The network management card also comes standard with a temperature probe to monitor the UPS environment and customizable I/O contacts and relays.
