Small-Footprint Tangential Fans

May 5, 2005
Small-footprint tangential fans incorporate a distinctive wide-format design to give high-volume outflow with a minimum footprint.

The manufacturer claims the 90° airflow and wide-surface feeding system produce uniform airflow across the entire length of the impeller.

The new series provides airflow volumes from 30 to 56,000 CFM and is available in 25 to 500-mm diameters with 40 to 3,000-mm lengths. Models come in aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel. Bearings and drives sit outside of airflow where temperature-differences, humidity, dust, or chemicals could affect performance.
