New Products: Sugar-cube power relays

Jan. 10, 2008
The G5LA Relay Series offers switching capacity of 10 A at 250 Vac or 24 Vdc on the NO contacts and 5 A at 125 Vac or 24 Vdc on the NC pair with a typical electrical life of 100,000 operations at rated loads.

The high-capacity G5LA-E relays have a resistive load rating of 5 A at 250 Vac or 24 Vdc on the NC contacts. The units operate over an ambient temperature range of –40 to 85°C and are available with Class F coil insulation (G5LA-CF).

Each relay measures 19.6 15.6 15.6 mm creating a lower profile than existing packages while still maintaining the industry standard footprint. The G5LA relay conforms to VDE0435, UL508, and CSA 22.2 standards. Nominal coil power consumption is 360 mW for the 5, 9, 12 and 24-Vdc coils and 480 mW for the 48-Vdc coil. All models are RoHS compliant.
