Converter Powers DC Sensors

May 20, 2004
The Python Power power and output conversion unit lets dc sensors install in locations where only ac power is available.

Units consist of a universal in-line ac/dc power supply and triac output switch. Units accept inputs of 85 to 265 Vac and can be pulled through and stored in 1-in. straight conduit. An encapsulated housing and integral cable resist most acids, bases, and food and beverage environments. Python is UL and CSA listed and CE certified and will withstand washdown environments with an IP67 enclosure rating.
