New Product: Signal-conditioning and relay modules

Nov. 8, 2007
The 857 Series Jumpflex modules offer a system approach to signal switching and conditioning.

The 6-mm-wide, DIN-rail mount devices have a common profile that permits accessory sharing. The module’s push-in jumper system comes in red, white, and blue color designations and two to 10-pole configurations.

Additional features include premarked modules for easy circuit identification, marking tag holder for module identification, built-in indication for power or signal status, and Cage Clamps wiring technology for fast and maintenance-free wiring.

Signal conditioners consist of 12 different modules, both configurable and dedicated. Signal types supported include current, voltage, Hart protocol, RTDs, and thermocouples. Configurations include splitter, single and multichannel, repeater, as well as loop-powered modules. Configurable modules are programmed via dipswitch (for current, voltage, and temperature) and/or FDT/DTM software (temperature only).

Features include safe operation with three-way isolation (2.5 kV), accurate signal transmission with error <0.1% of full-scale value, built-in potentiometer for zero and span adjustment, and –25 to 70°C operating temperature.

Relay modules include pluggable relay types and come in seven different modules that offer a variety of ac/ dc coil voltages and can switch loads up to 250 V and 5 A. Premarked wiring points with mechanical separation of the coil and load side provide safe wiring.
