High-Temperature Greaseless CAM Followers

Sept. 1, 2005
Stainless-steel cam followers with self-lubricating Graphalloy bearings come in metric sizes from 16 to 90-mm OD.

The cam followers outperform conventional grease-lubricated units in high temperatures (+750°F), low temperatures (450°F), submerged, and hostile environments.

Graphalloy contains no oil or grease and has a low coefficient of friction to eliminate galling or seizing in hot and dry conditions. Graphalloy will not soften or extrude under high temperatures and loads and works in acids, hydrocarbons, liquid gases, and other hostile environments. Graphalloy can be steam cleaned without damage or performance reduction. Typical applications include oven and furnace doors, control arms, and oven-tray supports.
