Test Points

July 13, 2006
Ultralow-profile test points are designed for replacing wire-wrap posts and turret terminals.

The parts are engineered for high-density packaging on 0.062 and 0.093-in.-thick PC boards. They ensure firm gripping with J-hooks, EZ-hooks, grabbers, alligator clips, tips, or probes and keep terminals perpendicular to the board, maintaining relative position during and after wave soldering. Constructed of 0.017-indiameter phosphor bronze with tin plating, the points come in two styles: compact and multipurpose. Both types mount on a single 0.14-in.-diameter PCB board hole.
