The NP3775 bipolar chopper-driver chip and NP7380 state logic (phasedistribution) chip are for use with tincan rotary and linear stepper motors.

The NP3775 chip drives a twophase stepper motor in full or half-step operation, with a maximum 750-mA output current. A digital filter on the chip eliminates external filtering components. The RoHS-compliant chips connect directly to the CPU and include a clock oscillator, comparators, and flip-flops for switching control. The NP7380 chip is a 14-pin EMP package.
