Diode Thermistors For High Temperatures

April 1, 2005
A new Diode Type (DT) Thermistor Series of thermal sensors target high-temperature and household appliance applications.

The thermistors offer an operating temperature range of 58 to 482°F (50 to 250°C) and feature a glasssealed body for high reliability and stability. Designed in a DO35 industry-standard package for convenient PCB mounting, they feature high thermal cycle endurance. Performance qualities include standard tolerance ranges of ±1%, ±3%, and ±5%, and a dissipation value of 2.4 mW/°C in still air with a typical thermal time constant of 15 sec. Resistance values of 25°C are available from 1 to 47 K W Maximum power rating is 250 mW (at 25°C). The DT Series is manufactured with 0.20-in. tin-plated leads.
