High-Torque Fasteners

March 17, 2005
Aerospace fasteners designed for MortorQ Drive System from Phillips Screw Co.

are said to provide full contact between the driver and the entire recess in the screw or bolt. This lets fasteners be driven with higher torque and minimizes the risk of the driver damaging the fastener recess. The fastener depth is minimized, allowing high torque transfer in 100 and 130° flush-head fasteners, as well as other bolts and screws used in shear applications. The fasteners serve in commercial and military aircraft, jet engines, and other critical applications.
