New Product: Software for optical design

Oct. 11, 2007
Code V optical-design software features diffraction-based image simulation that lets users access simulated image pixel data.

Builtin macros for manipulating the data let users combine multiple images (for example, separate red, green, and blue channels), adjust gamma, and compensate for known detector characteristics. Users can also extract various parameters from simulated image, including color and luminance values. Tolerancing lets designers optimize for the best fabricated performance, rather than simply the best nominal one. The software comes in English, Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Korean.
