Thermolastic Molding Material

Oct. 20, 2005
Isodamp C-8002 Series thermoplastic molding material's damping performance and mechanical strength complies with environmental and cleanliness specifications for use in a wide variety of molded-parts applications.

Features include environmentally friendly, halogen-free formulation; vibration and shock control are optimized via high internal damping; and rapid control of shock pulses in minimal sway space. The material-is pliable, strong, wear resistant, and adhesive friendly and comes in standard grommets, mounts, bushings, or in custom moldings. Applications include hard-disk drive isolation mounting for computers, DVRs, MP3 players; rotational vibration control for hard-disk drives in servers and mass-strong units; toolless fan and blower mounting for noise control; low rebound bumpers, crash stops, and shock pads; and stepper motor and fractional-horsepower motor mounting.
