Autodesk Vault keeps track of different versions of engineering files and is an easy-to-use data-management tool integrated with the Autodesk Inventor Series, Autodesk Inventor Professional, AutoCAD Mechanical and AutoCAD Electrical. Vault Access features include browsing the Vault Folder Structure, interrogating meta-data associated with files in the vault (including material specifications, and vendor information), and searching for files based on properties or simply by part number.
