Power Relay

Nov. 17, 2005
The FTR-H3 Form A relay, with a maximum noise level of 50 dB, is for sophisticated consumer appliances, such as digital TVs.

When mounted on a printed-circuit board, an internal U-shaped spring helps the relay maintain it's low noise level. The 10-A relay has a switching voltage of 400 Vac and 300 Vdc and comes in standard coil voltages of 5, 6, 9, 12, 24, and 48 Vdc and features 530-mW nominal power. The unit operates at 40 to 75°C, has a surge-withstand voltage of 10 kV minimum, and features 5-kVac dielectric strength between coil and contacts. Mechanical life expectancy is 2 million operations.
