New Product: Linear encoder

Nov. 8, 2007
The LS 688C linear encoder features a 1-Vpp interface and comes in 170 to 3,040-mm lengths, with additional scales of 670, 870, and 970 mm.

The encoder’s scanning carriage rides on ball bearings, giving it strong, rigid measuring direction and backlash and mounting tolerances required for manually operated machine tools and digital readout applications. The plug-and-play compatible scale is available with distance-coded reference marks and connectable cable assembly.
