Matchbox-Size Servoamplifier

The Ocarina is a miniature analog servoamplifier that measures 2 X 0.6 X 1.8 in. (55 X 15 X 46.5 mm) yet controls 500-W (1,000-W peak) power output for both brushed and brushless PM dc motors.

The amplifier comes in both 60 and 100-V models with current levels to 10 A for the 60-V models and 5 A for the 100-V units. Designed for PCB mounting in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C, the unit is UL recognized as meeting the requirements of UL508c and is in compliance with UL804 and UL60950. In addition, the Ocarina meets the requirements of low-voltage directive 73/23/IEC and complies with EN 60204-1.
