Ultraflexible Foam

Nov. 9, 2006
Basotect UF joins a family of melamine resin foams.

It is a substantially more flexible version that can serve as an acoustic damper or in mattresses and furniture upholstering. It resists fire and complies with stringent U.S. safety regulations. This material can be easily processed into components having precise contours or be attached quickly to curved surfaces. Other options include a thermoformable version, Basotect TG for complex automotive applications and Basotect Ultra Light (UL) for aerospace.
