Nylons Get A Soft Touch

June 22, 2006
Versaflex OM 6200 Series of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) bonds strongly to most nylon substrates, including modified versions.

Molders insert and two-shot mold the TPEs onto nylon with no need to dry either resin. Parts mold with a wide processing window, fast cycle times, and good surface aesthetics. The TPEs come in natural and black with 40 to 75-Shore-A hardness. .
