Fiber-Optic Lights

Jan. 12, 2006
Endura 100 and 700 light Series are LED-based fiber-optic illuminators that provide a mechanically flexible alternative to neon, florescent, halogen, and HID lighting.

The fibers can be installed in any location (wet or dry) and require no air exchange. The 100 uses a single LED that provides uniform lighting up to 20 ft (6 m) when illuminated from both ends of the fiber; and features a compact footprint available with 7-mm (8-mm OD) or 12-mm (13.5-mm OD) diameter fibers. Each illuminator is 12 to 24-Vdc compatible and rated for outdoor installations. The 700 has multiple LEDs for more light output and optional DMX color control for the 12-mm (13.5-mm OD) diameter fiber. The 7.5-sq-in. light engine runs on 120 to 240 Vac and provides uniform lighting up to 24 m (80 ft). It is UL listed and CSA and FCC (part 15) certified.
