Inventor 10 simplifies complex assemblies

Sept. 1, 2005
Autodesk Inventor 10 includes an engineer's handbook with engineering theory, formulas, and algorithms to cut time spent on engineering research.

Component Generators inside Inventor 10 assist in the design and analysis, and create commonly used machine components based on functional requirements and specifications. This lets users create parts and assemblies based on power, speed, torque, material properties, working temperatures, and lubrication conditions.

This online reference and manufacturing knowledge base is accessible at any time in Autodesk Inventor. Mechanical Calculators, another feature, let users avoid rework and improve design efficiency with online engineering guidance and analysis tools. A comprehensive set of engineering calculators builds on standard mathematical formulas and physical theories used in both design and validation of mechanical systems.
