Friction-Welding System

April 27, 2006
The FWS-30 friction-welding system joins small parts to a broad range of dissimilar materials.

It creates forge-quality welded joints and can replicate part-to-part joint consistency. It also joins hard-to-weld materials including aluminum, high-carbon steel, ceramics, bronze, and copper. The process is said to be fast, clean, and safe, with no consumables required. The system can be designed as a stand-alone machine, put into a work cell, or be part of a processing line.
