Magnetic Ring Encoder

March 8, 2007
The MBR magnetic ring encoder uses a low-profile 10-mm-wide magnetic band in a continuous-ring configuration for inherent contamination immunity, larger alignment tolerances, and nonenclosed and extended temperature range.

The device is flexible enough for easy mounting onto rotary tables and shafts. Standard ring diameters are 30 to 254 mm. Standard sizes offer up to 3,600,000 counts/rev.
