The software is SolidWorks without assembly and drafting functions. Surfcam incorporates complete SolidWorks interoperability to accelerate the design to manufacturing. This associativity lets users open native SolidWorks files directly into Surfcam to eliminate translations. The NC software recognizes design revisions in the solid model and regenerates only affected toolpaths. This interoperability lets Surfcam users adapt more easily to downstream design changes.
