Crystal-Clear SL Photopolymer

Feb. 3, 2005
A high-strength, stereolithography (SL) photopolymer, RenShape SL 7570, builds clear models and prototypes for flow visualization and form-and-fit evaluations.

The low-viscosity material is also well suited for making QuickCast patterns and masters for RTV silicone molds. Typical prototypes include package designs, optical guides, toys, medical devices, and electronic-equipment fascias. The photopolymer boasts the highest heat deflection temperature, 60°C (140°F) for transparent SL materials. High HDT values make models more dimensionally stable. The material is for use in solid-state platforms including the Viper si2 and SLA 3500/5000/7000 systems.
