Custom Electrical Terminals

May 11, 2006
Custom electrical terminals for medical and surgical devices are designed to integrate with discrete component overmolding to offer better strain and flex relief, assembly efficiency, and reduced costs.

The terminals are manufactured from virtually any alloy including medical-grade alloys, titanium, platinum, stainless, and copper. They can be supplied reelto-reel or loose piece for integration into a wide range of automation systems.

The terminals range in size from 0.008 to 0.090-in. thick and have ±0.002-in. tolerances, depending upon materials and design requirements. They can also be inlaid or edge-laid with precious metals for increased wear properties and other characteristics.
