Infrared Temperature Sensors

June 17, 2004
Smart IRt/c.5, c.20, and c.40 are powered, linearized infrared temperature sensors that measure temperatures some distance from the target.

INFRARED TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Optics in 3:1, 5:1, 20:1, and 40:1 (distance: spot size ratio) are available. All models have built-in air purge for cleaning, and offer smart continuous auto calibration. Plugand-play installation eliminates concerns of leakage current, impedance, or cold-junction compensation. Smart emissivity shift and ambient radiation correction makes for precise measurements. Housings withstand heavy-duty mechanical and thermal shock common to industrial applications. Available outputs are 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, 4 to 20 mA, RS-232, and RS-485. Temperature ranges available are: 0 to 100, 0 to 250, 0 to 500, and 0 to 1,000°C. Custom programming is available for low-emissive target applications.
