The LIDA 500 Series 20-µm incremental linear scale offers measuring steps of 1 to 0.1 µm. Glass scales are the measuring standard and each encoder has a midpoint reference mark. The 500 Series has a ±5-µm accuracy grade, a high degree of immunity to contamination, and 1 Vpp or TTL interfaces. The Series consists of the LIDA 583 and 573 versions that have two smaller scanning fields with double-field scanning.
