Mini Thrust Bearings

May 24, 2007
Thrust bearings in metric sizes 4-to-12-mm ID in carbon and stainless steel use a molded-nylon retainer and hardened-grade-steel balls and washers.

Self-lubricating nylon, with the steel balls, reduce friction. A micro finish on the thrust washers reduces noise and increases durability. The retainer captures the balls in precision molded pockets, assuring smooth, quiet, free turning. Retainers are injection-molded 6/6 nylon and steel balls are grade 100 tolerance (±0.0025 mm) and a 10 micro finish.
