The units are constructed of aluminum and come in preloaded ball-screw, leadscrew, and belt-drive versions. Ball-screw versions have leads of 5 and 10 mm and are engineered for high-duty-cycle applications. Leadscrew versions come in 3, 10, and 25-mm leads and are designed to hold loads in vertical applications without the use of a separate power-off brake. Belt-drive versions are up to 2× the length of ball-screw and leadscrew versions and come with Micron NemaTrue gearbox ratios of 3:1, 5:1, and 10:1 for torque multiplication and inertia matching. All MS 46 models use the Thomson Piloted RediMount system that includes the motor flange and bellows coupling for quick motor installation.
