Sensor blocks

June 2, 2005
The Series 270 terminal blocks are designed for control panels or junction boxes where limited space and persistent vibration are present.

Assembly is easier with front-entry wiring and Cage Clamp connection for 12 to 28-awg conductors guarantee vibrationproof connection. A key feature for the block is a jumper system for the power supply. Jumper slots are very small and accommodate a new noninsulated push-in jumper bar that is protected against accidental contact. Jumpers come in 2 through 17-way versions for power distribution. On the signal level, the jumper positions are compatible with Series 870 rail-mounted terminal blocks using Cage Clamp Compact connection. An LED for status indication and three locations for marker cards per terminal block are available. Color-coded connections make field wiring easier.
