Square rails reduce friction

Nov. 4, 2004
DryLin WQ square rails are the newest addition to the DryLin line of linear guide systems.

The square-shaped design lowers rail friction, accommodates uneven heights, and evenly distributes loads. Use of an engineered polymer called iglide J200, further reduces friction. Linear guides with iglide J200 have 20% less friction than standard DryLin W round rails. Wear rates are also reduced by 34%. The DryLin WQ is currently available in 6 and 20-mm sizes, with more sizes to come.
