The Sensors Expo in Chicago gave sensor and device makers a chance to show off novel applications for sensing technology. Here are a few of the more notable demonstrations we noticed.

Sensing technology lies at the heart of several advancing waves of technology that encompass ideas ranging from the Internet of Things to home automation and wearable tech. A lot of these trends could be seen at the Sensors Expo this week near Chicago. Here are some of the more interesting demos we found while cruising the aisles.
