Jeremy Cohen has been named managing editor for Machine Design and Hydraulic & Pneumatics.

“Jeremy’s long tenure with these two titles and his experience in leading our content effort makes him the ideal candidate to take on this expanded role,” said Bob Vavra, senior content director for Machine Design and Hydraulics & Pneumatics.  “He is an invaluable member and leader on our content team and brings strong journalistic and subject-matter expertise to the position.”

A New Jersey-based writer and editor, Cohen has more than 20 years of experience in B2C and B2B publishing spanning several industries. In recent years, he has led the content and print production efforts for Machine Design and Hydraulics & Pneumatics and helps coordinate special projects and overall content direction.

Cohen holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.
