Electrodeposited, nickel-alloy bellows-type flexible shaft couplings provide 2 oz-in. to 20 lb-ft torque capabilities for shaft sizes ranging from 0.090 to 1 in.

Electrodeposited, nickel-alloy bellows-type flexible shaft couplings provide 2 oz-in. to 20 lb-ft torque capabilities for shaft sizes ranging from 0.090 to 1 in. The low-torque couplings handle angular misalignment up to 31°, or parallel misalignments up to .076 in.
Features of the bellows couplings include zero backlash, vibration-damping capability, zero cyclic-speed variation during 360° rotation, very-low elastic windup from torsional rigidity, and low side thrust on bearings because of lateral flexibility.
