Instant Adhesive Is Suited for Outdoor Environments

Henkel’s Loctite 4090 is an instant hybrid adhesive with the bond strength of epoxy. It delivers the first structural cyanoacrylate that, according to Henkel, offers rapid, high-strength bonding to a range of substrates. The adhesive is impact resistance and resistance to moisture. It can also resist temperatures of 300°F. Once applied, Loctite 4090 adheres to surfaces in 3 to 5 minutes and fills gaps up to 0.2 inches. It can be used for marine and outdoor applications due to its resistance to vibration and UV light as well as chemicals and solvents. The product is available in 50 mL cartridges, which are dispensed via Henkel’s Dual Cartridge Manual Applicator.
