Mini-Slides from Rexroth Mecman, Lexington, Ky., offer capabilities beyond those of conventional pneumatic cylinders. The components combine drive and guiding functions within a single unit, and are well suited for automatic assembly systems to carry grippers, rotary elements, power screwdrivers, and clamping devices. Model MSS is a rugged design suited for pick-and-place handling of heavy objects. MST is a narrow model and the MSN is a slimline version suited for long travel lengths. Integrated linear and ball-rail systems ensure high stability and precision. Diameters range from 8 to 25 mm in various stroke lengths.
