The monorail BM WR/SR stainless-steel guideways are for applications where common anticorrosion coatings are not sufficient. The four-row ball guide features O-geometry — a ball in the load zone only contacts the track contour of the rail and the carriage at two diametrically opposed points, whether preloaded or under load.

The unit’s rails contain a high level of chromium. The raceway and surface of the rail are hardened in a special process for stainless steel, which results in a Rockwell hardness between 56 and 58. The unit also features hardened stainless-steel balls, and its end plates and accessories are assembled with high-grade steel screws.
