Twin-Rod Air Cylinders

May 10, 2007
Twin-rod air cylinders have less than one-third of a degree of rotation for precise rod alignment that virtually eliminates rod endplay for guided linear motion.

The cylinders' rectangular body simplifies mounting and makes it easy to get precise angles. The cylinders come in single and double-acting versions in strokes from 0.5 to 4 in. with built-in fine stroke adjustment, and six bores sizes ranging from 0.25 to 1.25 in. Integral magnets let sensor switches mount on three sizes. An end-keep option locks rods in the event of a pressure loss and long bushings accept side loadings.
