The Faro PowerGage is a high-tech, user-friendly, portable device that measures parts (to within 0.0002 in.) while still on the machine to verify they meet specs by performing surface inspection against master CAD files.
This eliminates taking parts to an expensive fixed CMM in a climate-controlled room. The device, which resembles a short, metallic arm, runs on a version of Delcam's PowerInspect software.
