Fiber Laser-Marking System

April 27, 2006
The Desktop Fiber Laser-Marking system is said to be the first to have the Z axis and scan head controlled by the laser module itself.

One person can carry the compact unit for ease of location and portability. Advantages of the system include spot size 90% smaller than CO2's, state-ofthe-art air-cooled fiber laser, consumable-free direct-part marking on virtually any material, excellent beam quality (M2<1.05), and 50,000-hr maintenance-free operation.
