Antibacklash Nuts

Nov. 17, 2005
The W Series of antibacklash nuts eliminates minimal backlash between the leadscrew and nut interface on external linear actuators.

Manufactured from self-lubricating polyacetal, the nuts provide low drag torque and smooth operation with precision rolled stainless-steel leadscrews. The nut assembly preloads two threaded nut halves to eliminate backlash and optimizes load-carrying capability and bidirectional axial stiffness while minimizing drag torque and system lost motion.

Also available is the N Series freewheeling nut for applications not requiring antibacklash control.
