FEA Software Supports 64-Bit HP-UX OS

June 7, 2006
Algor V19.1 FEA software supports the 64-bit HP-UX OS.

This lets Unix workstation users perform analyses including electrostatics, linear dynamics, full multiphysics, steady and unsteady fluid flow, steady-state and transient heat transfer, and static stress and mechanical-event simulation with linear and nonlinear material models. V19.1 features a new gasket-material model for simulating mechanical seals. The software displays fluid-flow results as streaklines for improved visualization of flow throughout a fluid domain. Additionally, users can calculate equilibrium temperature from heat-transfer-analysis results.
