New Sizes For Miniature Precision-Ground Ball Screws

Feb. 3, 2005
Miniature precision ball screws are available with 6 and 10-mm diameters and the following pitches: 6 x 1.25, 6 x 1.27, 6 x 2, 6 x 3, 10 x 2, 10 x 4, and 10 x 6 mm.

The miniature screws include seven diameters from 3 to 16 mm. Other diameters are 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm. All screws have ground ball nuts and are available with or without preload. Using an internal ball-deflector return system instead of external tubes, the nuts offer less operating noise. The screws are manufactured from standard tool steel, hardened, and then precision ground to meet ISO tolerances from T0 to T5. Stainless steel is also available.
