Sensor Sees The Big Picture

Sept. 2, 2004
PresencePlus P4 Geo vision sensors inspect for correct features regardless of product orientation or position in the sensor's field of view.

A remote teach feature lets the sensor learn new features without connecting to a PC. A built-in video image output lets users view sensor inspections in real time. Interface to machines and factory networks is via built-in 10/100 Ethernet connection, RS-232, or discrete inputs/outputs. Units are available in both in-line and right-angle versions, both of which measure 66.8-mm wide. In-line models are 136.1-mm long and rightangle units measure 124.5-mm long. Mounting brackets let units attach to machines and conveyors.
