Compact BLDC Blower

A high-speed 24-V brushless dc blower features embedded drive and commutation electronics.

The resulting motor has a two-wire input. The impeller and rotor are balanced to eliminate vibrations and noise. Dimensions are 3.4 in. in diameter and 2.64 in. in length. Output is 11.5 in. of H2O pressure (28.8 mBar) and the blower is capable of producing a flow rate of 21.5 cfm (10.2 L/sec). Windings for other voltages are available upon request.
