Gel Seal

Oct. 26, 2006
The GSIC gel seal for in-line and antenna connectors provides telecom infrastructure designers and installers with a weatherproofing system for sealing jumper-to-feeder and jumper-to-antenna connectors exposed to outside elements.

The system includes a clamshell enclosure filled with high-performance sealing gel. A tool-free locking mechanism provides audible indication when the clamshell locks. The gel-filled internal cavity has a barrier against moisture and foreign material. The closure can be repeatedly opened and closed.
