It lets engineers run the software in any one of six languages, including Chinese (simplified), English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The developer worked with language localization experts at Echo International to ensure that its multilingual support accounted for such considerations as dialect, culture, currency, writing style, numbering, weights and measures, timing, geography, and dating. The newly internationalized software incorporates all V17 features while adding a graphical-user interface and user documentation in the six languages, and automatic language detection from Windows regional settings.
