Miniature Cartridge Needle Valve

Feb. 22, 2007
A cartridge needle valve with 56-threads/inch adjustment and 3° taper of the needle precisely controls flows from 0 to 1 SCFM at 50 psig.

And flow remains stable even during temperature fluctuations as the needle and valve seat are both stainless steel. Maximum inlet pressure is 300 psig. A metal-to-metal seal provides positive shut-off down to negative pressure/vacuum of 25-in. Hg. Installation height is <1 in. Inlet/installation thread is a 10-32 external thread with an O-ring face seal for leaktight connections. A variety of elastomeric seals resist corrosion and heat, and work with most fluids.
